Charming stay with amazing hosts!

Just spent 2 nights in this lovely B&B. Harvey and Diane are the best! Super welcoming, with great breakfast every day—loved the fresh fruit. The garden is so peaceful, perfect for relaxing. Only thing, the soundproofing could be better. I heard some noise from other rooms at times.

Couple getaway done right

Wow! The breakfast was amazing each day, I mean we had everything from fresh fruit and homemade pastries to a breakfast burrito that I still dream about. And Harvey & Diane were like family, always ready to share their local wisdom or just have a chat over coffee.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, though it was worth every penny.

Staying here was a delightful experience for a romantic getaway. The breakfast was exceptional, with fresh fruits, homemade pastries, and the amazing Guatemalan coffee that we couldn't get enough of. The views from the roof terrace were breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful volcanoes, and the garden provided a lovely escape for relaxation. The hosts were like family, making us feel right at home and ensuring our stay was perfect.

Staying in the Junior Suite at Casa Elena was fantastic. The room was spacious and extremely clean, making it feel like a home away from home. Harvey and Diana are really welcoming, always ready to help with anything I needed. Every morning, the breakfast was something to look forward to, with a variety of delicious options. The garden is beautiful, providing a lovely and peaceful atmosphere. One downside, however, was the soundproofing in the room. There were some early breakfast noises that occasionally disturbed my sleep. Overall, the charm of the location and the warmth of the hosts definitely made up for it. I would happily return again!

The Junior Suite was bright and spacious with a super comfy bed. Loved the natural light and the views of Volcan Fuego from the terrace. It felt cozy and clean throughout our three-night stay. Just a fantastic room for a chill getaway!

The soundproofing leaves a lot to be desired. I could hear my neighbors quite clearly during my stay. With breakfast prep starting early, noise from the dining area often interrupted any chance of sleeping in, which could be an annoyance for light sleepers or late risers. Additionally, the rooms lean a bit towards the darker side, which might not be ideal for everyone looking for bright, airy accommodations.

Hosts Harvey and Diane create a warm atmosphere, always engaging and full of great tips. The breakfast each morning was a highlight, tailored expertly to dietary preferences, and included freshly made options that left us satisfied. The peaceful garden and upper deck, adorned with lush greenery, provided a perfect retreat after exploring. However, soundproofing in the room could be improved, as conversations from neighboring rooms were occasionally audible, which impacted our rest.

We especially enjoyed the breathtaking garden view that added a special touch to our stay, creating a perfect ambiance. The rooftop balcony was lovely and provided a great space to work remotely with excellent WiFi.

we had an amazing five-day stay at casa elena bed & breakfast. the junior suite was spacious and bright, with a cozy bed and great views of the erupting volcano. breakfasts were exceptional, especially our chats with diane and harvey — they truly made us feel at home.
